Properly formulated, they can remove dead protein, toxins and other effluvia from the epidermis using a process called ‘reverse osmosis’.
Where some cosmetic facial treatments may only act on the surface of the skin, DMK Enzyme Treatments work with the skin. The enzymes aim to strengthen the structural integrity of the skin to create a healthy environment for cells to live and thrive in.Enzyme Therapy exercises facial muscles and works to leave the skin feeling firm.

your first DMK Enzyme Treatment & what to expect

This paramedical treatment is unique from a facial, in that it completely revises the skin from the inside out. This means you can also expect a unique experience when you come in for your DMK enzyme. During the 45 minute Enzyme process you will physically feel your face become tighter and slightly restricted, this is where the magic happens. We will comfort you throughout the treatment, offering LED light therapy, high frequency, a scalp massage, and a hair masque. When it’s time to remove the enzyme, we will do so as gentle as possible. For some clients, the “plasmatic effect” will be prominent in their skin, it is no indication of a successful treatment but just a mere side effect of the enzyme. If you experience the plasmatic effect, it will diminish within 30 minutes post-treatment. There is no down-time for this treatment, except hydrated, plump, radiant skin.

A Plasmatic Effect is a visual representation of the oxygenation that takes place during DMK’s signature Enzyme Treatment. The “Veiny” road map is created by the downward pressure cause by the tightening of the Enzyme Masque. It stimulates the circulatory system to pump fresh blood oxygen and nutrient-rich blood through the capillaries causing them to dilate. This fresh, oxygenated blood brings with it nutrients to feed our skin cells while eliminating toxins, stagnant blood and other dead cell derbies through the Lymphatic system, making this treatment very detoxifying.
